Bernardo had to come off injured two weeks ago just before half-time in the 3-1 UCL win over Red Star Belgrade.
He's since missed Premier League games against Nottingham Forest and Wolves and the Carabao Cup match at Newcastle United.
Stones hasn’t featured since the Community Shield game with Arsenal back at the start of August.
“They feel better, Bernardo better than John,” said Guardiola as he spoke to the media.
“Both travel and we are going to decide tomorrow.
“Really happy that they’re back. John couldn’t play one minute this season and Bernardo had a pre-season with the birth of his beautiful daughter and also was injured a little bit, with disruptions, which made it a little bit longer.
“But they’re back which is good news for us.”
Meanwhile, Rodrigo is able to return to the fold for tomorrow night’s clash after sitting out the Newcastle Carabao Cup match and Wolves Premier League game, following his red card against Forest.
GROUP STANDINGS
City and Leipzig have identical records after Matchday One, both securing 3-1 victories over Red Star Belgrade and Young Boys respectively.
PREVIOUS MEETING
Erling Haaland's five goals, Ilkay Gundogan's accurate strike and a stunning Kevin de Bruyne effort propelled us into the last eight of the UEFA Champions League with a 7-0 (8-1 aggregate) victory over RB Leipzig in last season’s competition.
That was the return leg, after we were held to a 1-1 draw at the Red Bull Arena in the first match of the tie.
LAST TIME OUT
In our last Champions League fixture, we came from behind to beat Red Star Belgrade 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium last month.
RB Leipzig also won 3-1 against our other Group G rivals Young Boys.
Our last match across all competitions was in the Premier League, where we fell to a 2-1 defeat against Wolves.
