By Metrolink

  • A 12-minute frequency will operate across the Metrolink network, including the Ashton line, which will take supporters straight to the Etihad Stadium.
  • Through a combination of services, there will be a 6-minute frequency between Manchester City Centre and the Etihad, pre-match and post-match.
  • There is ongoing work at Whitefield Park and Ride, and there will be a small reduction in parking spaces whilst the work is taking place.

Matchday Bus

  • 20 Matchday buses will operate across Greater Manchester. Find your local service on our website here. 

By road

  • There is a strict resident parking scheme around the stadium.

By rail

  •  Supporters are advised to check before they travel, especially if travelling on Northern, who are cancelling trains at short notice, due to crew shortages.

From 23 March, contactless tap and go will be the quickest, easiest way to pay for travel across Bee Network buses and trams. for more information visit the TFGM website.

Travelling to and from the Etihad Stadium

The Etihad Stadium is easily accessible using a range of modes of transport and is within easy walking distance from Manchester city centre. This includes a range of increasingly sustainable modes of transport.

Man City Matchday Bus Network

In total, the bus network sees 15 different routes (20 for weekend fixtures) operating across 83 stops, covering a combined total of more than 370 miles for Manchester City fans only.

Adults will pay £6 for a return ticket from Zone 1, and £8 for a return from Zone 2. Single tickets cost £3 and £4 respectively. 

Under-16 tickets are priced at half of an adult ticket, while children under the age of five can now travel for free.
