"Really good. We played a fantastic game in all departments. Everyone was perfect.
"The substitutes all came off the bench with smiles on their faces, not complaining because they did not start.
"I will not judge my team on results. Both [the last two] games were not the best results but it is not easy when both teams defend with 10 in the box. It happens. There are many games.

"The last two games were not ideal for us. We’ve come off the back of two rubbish results. Today we had to make that right. We definitely did that. The way we performed throughout the full game was a delight to watch so I’m really happy.
"We know what they’re about. Last time we played them, we were very good in the first half then they came out in the second half and performed. At half-time it was a bit concerning after last time. The manager said we have to be ready because they will come out firing. They scored an early goal which wasn’t ideal, but the way the team reacted and the way we controlled the game, it was an unbelievable display today."
City go clear at the summit of Group G. In the other game Red Star Belgrade drew 2-2 with Swiss side Young Boys who we face next.
Alvarez with a goal and an assist to secure the 3-1 victory in Germany.
That's it! Fantastic win for City as goals from Foden, Alvarez and Doku secure a fabulous win.
Lightning break. Haaland plays in Alvarez who squares to Doku and he finishes coolly. What a finish.
City have a few minutes to hold on.
Quick-fire fouls from Doku and Alvarez as we try to stop Leipzig building any momentum. The free-kick is dumped into the box but City head it clear.
