Monday marker: Your guide to City's week ahead

MONDAY

It’s matchday and the eagerly-awaited start to our 2020/21 Premier League campaign as City travel to tackle Wolves.

Kick-off at Molineux is at 20:15 (UK) and in the UK you watch the game live on Sky Sports, whilst fans living abroad can check out our global TV listings to find out how they can tune in from around the world.

The matchday build-up begins with our indispensable live show, We’re Not Really Here, which gets under way one hour before kick-off.

There will be live chat with presenters Cel Spellman, Kyle Walker (the presenter not the player!) and our special guests Shaun Wright-Phillips and Joleon Lescott.

There will also be a half-time summary and a 30-minute post-match show, all of which can be watched across our digital platforms – mancity.com, the Official Man City app and our social media channels.

THURSDAY

It’s a second match in three days for City as we kick off or 2020/21 Carabao Cup campaign with a third round clash at home to Bournemouth, kick-off 7.45pm

Our live matchday show, We’re Not Really Here, will again get you in the big match mood prior to kick-off with the presenters and guests still to be confirmed.

The pre-match show begins at 6.45pm and will run for one hour in the build-up to kick-off, with the team returning both at half-time and straight after full time for a 30-minute wrap up of all the action.

FRIDAY

The focus switches back to the Premier League and Sunday’s latest assignment at home to Leicester City.

Pep Guardiola will again be sitting down to face the media ahead of the visit of the Foxes via video call on Friday afternoon, when we’ll bring you his thoughts and the latest injury news as it arrives.

SATURDAY

Another busy week continues with our Under-18s who continue their Under-18 Premier League North campaign with a trip to tackle Liverpool.

Kick-off over on Merseyside is 11am and we’ll have live updates on our Twitter account @ManCityAcademy and will also carry a report on our website straight after the game.

SUNDAY

A busy week concludes with a twin encounter against Leicester for our men’s and women’s teams.

Gareth Taylor’s women are first up as we resume action in the 2019/20 FA Women’s Cup with a quarter-final trip to Leicester City.

Having being put on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition resumes with reigning Cup holders City aiming to go within 90 minutes of another trip to Wembley.

We’ll have live updates from the game on our Twitter site @ManCityWomen as well as carrying a match report and all the post-match reaction on www.mancity.com

The focus then switches to our first Premier League home clash of the new season against Leicester City at the Etihad, kick-off 4.30pm.

Once again, We’re Not Really Here is the show to watch beforehand. Beginning at 3.30pm (BST), our presenters and guests are yet to be confirmed, but it promises to be the perfect mix of City chatter and good humour to get you in the mood for the big game.

We’ll return to the show for a brief precis at half-time and then be back on air for half an hour straight after full time to digest all the action and big talking points.
