SUMMER FUN: City in the Community are hosting free girls soccer schools.

SUMMER FUN: City in the Community are hosting free girls soccer schools.

Do you know a young female footballer who'd love to play the beautiful game in the school holidays?

City in the Community (CITC) are running special ‘girls-only’ soccer schools for six to 16-year-olds throughout the school holidays.

Over a four week period we'll be hosting two courses a day, at two different venues, all of which are FREE to attend.

City Football Academy will host one soccer school, while Newall Green High School will be the venue for the other.

Players will need to bring with them appropriate sports clothing, a bottle of water and waterproof clothes in case of rain.

Dates and venue details are as follows: 

 - Week 1: 1 - 5 August
 - Week 2: 8 - 12 August
 - Week 3: 15 - 19 August
 - Week 4: 22 - 26 August

Morning session: 10-12noon Newall Green High School
Greenbrow Road, Wythenshawe, Manchester M23 2SX

Afternoon session: 2-4pm City Football Academy
Enter via Wilson Street Car Park, M11 3BS

Please note: There is a £2 charge for  the Fun Friday seassion

CITC celebrate first set BTEC graduates

SUCCESS: City in the Community are celebrating their first set of BTEC graduates.

City in the Community celebrated the first set of its BTEC graduates earlier this month, at a special end of season awards ceremony.

In partnership with Hopwood Hall College, the Level 3 BTEC in Sport and Football encompasses both classroom based and physical lessons here at the City Football Academy.
