The Jamaican came out on top in a shortlist containing Lauren Hemp and Jade Rose after another stellar month for the Blues.
Shaw found the net in all five of City’s matches across October, taking her tally to an incredible ten goals and one assist in ten matches by the end of the month.
Our number nine began the month with a smart turn and finish against Real Madrid to earn us a point at the Joie Stadium.
She followed that up by rounding off an impressive 4-2 win over Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium, cutting back onto her right foot and finishing under Anneke Borbe.
A brace followed against Brighton & Hove Albion, with the Jamaican twice getting on the end of a Hemp cross to ultimately help us earn a 3-2 victory against the Seagulls.
Another tough encounter followed against Manchester United, with Shaw locked in a physical battle with Maya Le Tissier throughout the 90 minutes.

It didn’t stop the Jamaican getting on the scoresheet though, with another clinical finish opening the scoring in the Derby.
And Shaw would continue her 100% scoring record in October when she fired home from the penalty spot against Paris Saint-Germain in our final match last month.
Everyone at City would like to congratulate Bunny on being named October’s Etihad Player of the Month!
