Manchester City would like to welcome visiting supporters to the JOIE Stadium.

At the stadium

Tickets for away fans will be sold directly through the visiting Clubs. Please contact the visiting Club to purchase tickets in the away end. Supporters under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (over 18). Any supporter that attempts to use an inactive ticket will be asked to leave the complex. 

Supporters are advised to arrive no later than 60-minutes prior to kick-off.

Pubs in the local vicinity are used by home supporters. We ask for your co-operation both in and around the local community and that you are respectful of the surrounding residential areas as drinking is not allowed in public areas across Greater Manchester.

Please note: All supporters will be searched prior to entering the stadium. Searches will be thorough and carried out by Manchester City Security and search dogs may be present at the turnstiles.

Fans are prohibited from entering the Joie Stadium with any pyrotechnics.

VIEW PROHIBITED ITEMS

Fans can park in one of our car parks at the Etihad Campus, free of charge. But this must be pre-booked before attending the match.

Arrive early to allow plenty of time to pass our security checks. Small handheld bags, no larger than A4 size (12”x8”x3”) will be accepted.

Backpacks, holdalls, rucksacks, or other similar items of any size, large or small, will not be allowed into the stadium. Small handheld bags, no larger than A4 size (12”x8”x3”) will be accepted. 

There is no bag storage facility.

Lost Property 

Please contact us on +44 (0)161 444 1894. Manchester City accepts no responsibility for loss/damage to property.

Items will be retained for 4-weeks. Supporters will be charged the postage for any items that cannot be collected from the stadium.

  • Food & Beverage

    Concessions will be open on the concourse until the end of half-time. The Joie stadium is a cashless venue therefore cash will not be accepted.

    There is a range of hot & cold, food & beverages available, with several Halal & Vegan options. 

  • Ticket Collections

    Pre-arranged ticket collections will be available from the ticket trailer located under the Nexen Tyre Bridge, 1.5 hours before kick-off. Photo ID will be required.

    Collections must be arranged through your club directly, tickets will not be reprinted on the day.

  • Age Band

    The person entering the stadium must be in the allocated age band. Supporters may be asked for Photo ID. 

    Ticket regrades will not be available. Any persons using a concessionary ticket who is not a concession will be ejected and have their ticket confiscated.  

  • Re-Admission

    Manchester City operates a strict no re admission policy and there will not be an opportunity to leave and re-enter the stadium.

Manchester City recognises that disabled fans may need assistance to fully enjoy the experience at the Joie Stadium. From Ear Defenders to Audio Descriptive Commentary, we offer a variety of reasonable adjustments based on individual needs.

Blue Badge parking is available at the Joie Stadium on a first-come-first-served basis for Away Fans. Parking can be booked by contacting your visiting club.

Security notice detailing the searches and bags policy for entering the stadium, including a list of prohibited items and size limit for bags.

GROUND REGULATIONS

Anyone who enters the pitch and those identified carrying or using pyrotechnics or smoke bombs will be liable to arrest and prosecution that may lead to a Football Banning Order. They will also receive an automatic ban by Manchester City.

These acts are dangerous, illegal and have severe consequences. They have no place in football, or anywhere.

Any supporter, who attempts to invade the field of play, at any time, will be ejected from the stadium and may be arrested. This also applies to any supporters identified to be throwing items on to the field of play or into the home supporter areas.

Manchester City operates a zero tolerance policy on visiting supporters seated within home areas. Any visiting supporters identified within the home supporter areas will be ejected from the stadium.

Tickets must be purchased from the opposing club only, subject to their sales criteria. Tickets purchased through other means may not be valid. We accept no liability for tickets purchased through unofficial channels.

The Etihad Campus, including the car park and concourses are smoke free, including electronic cigarettes.

Anybody smoking inside the Stadium will be ejected and will not be able to re-enter.

Kick It Out

We ask all fans to join us in creating a positive environment and atmosphere, where everyone is welcomed, accepted and has a fantastic matchday experience.

As part of this, we operate a zero-tolerance approach to all discriminatory and abusive behaviour including any form of Racism, Homophobia, Islamophobia, Antisemitism or Sexism. Such behaviour may include abusive tragedy-related comments, chanting, or gesture-making.

If you see or hear such behaviour, talk to a steward or the police, or report it on the Kick It Out website.

Alternatively, any fans who see or hear abusive behaviour can text 0770 015 1894 to make our dedicated security team aware of what they have witnessed.

PRAYER ROOM

We have a Multi-Faith Prayer Room within the stadium to provide supporters with a quiet space for prayer and reflection. If you’d like to use this space on a matchday, please approach a steward who will guide you to the space.
