Here you will find important information for our away match against palermo

Man City will play Palermo FC in a pre-season friendly to contest the inaugural Anglo Palermitan Trophy.

To enter the Renzo Barbera Stadium, fans must have the copy of their Passport or Driving License (digital versions such as images will be accepted). This documentation will be inspected upon entry and the name on the ticket must match the physical ID. If any attempts are made at amendments/alterations to the ticket, entry will not be permitted.

All match tickets will be sent directly from [email protected] (Palermo’s ticket office). Please check your junk/spam folders as the tickets may have dropped in those folders.

Our best advice, as always, is that the fans travelling to Palermo for the match read the Travel Advice and keep their passport safe.

The Supporter Liaison Officer will be in Palermo from Friday evening through to matchday. For this match, the SLO can be contacted by email on [email protected] or by mobile, +44 (0)7977 829 284.

  • Important Information

    As match tickets are printed with the name of the fan on, you must have valid photo ID in order to enter the Stadium. This can be a passport or driver’s license (this cannot be a photo-copy).

    There will be meeting points in the City, these will be identified by Italian Police, this will be published here, and shared on @Mancityhelp

  • Travel to the Stadium

    Renzo Barbera Stadium (Viale del Fante, 11, 90146 Palermo PA) is a 20 minute drive from Falcone Borsellino Airport in the City Centre.

    Buses will be available from the City Centre & the Airport to the Stadium. We recommend fans plan their travel to the Stadium in advance and arrive early for a smooth entry to the Stadium.

    If you are travelling from the airport, the train goes directly from the airport to the stadium, there is a train station to the left of arrivals. Timetables will be present but usually these run every 30 minutes.

    The stop for the stadium is ‘de Gasperi' which is a 10 minute walk from the stadium.

    The nearest Metro stop to the Stadium is Nebrodi Belgio.

  • Fan Information

    Turnstiles open at 6:30pm local time (2.5 hours before kick-off)

    Allowed:

    • Bags no larger than A4

    Prohibited Items:

    • Large Flags & flag poles
    • Bottles (both plastic and non plastic), Cans and Lighters
    • Pyrotechnics

    There is no bag storage facility at the stadium, as such we strongly recommend you do not bring a bag larger than A4.

    • Lift access will be available for fans who require it to access the Man City section
