Donovan ‘Tekkz’ Hunt is City Esports’ second signing ahead of the 2023/24 ePremier League season.
He will duo alongside our other newest member to the roster Matias Bonanno as they look to take the English esports league by storm in the newly branded EA SPORTS FC 24 franchise.
Hunt began his esports career in 2018 with The F2, bursting onto the scene with his first tournament win, the 2018 FUT Champions Cup.
During his tenure with The F2, he had a brief stint at KiNG Esports where he represented them, and won, the 2019 FIFA eClub World Cup.
The England Esports pro player continued to go from strength to strength and in his debut season in the ePremier League, he won the competition in 2019.
Within his 11 tournament wins, Tekkz achieved one of his biggest career accolades – being named champion of the 2020 eChampions League invitational.
Hunt has also experienced a lot of victory on the international stage since he began representing England in 2021. In his first season representing the Three Lions, Tekkz won the FIFAe Nations Cup 2021 EU Qualifiers.
And it didn’t take long for Tekkz to help make history with Man City Esports. The Xbox pro, alongside his duo Matias Bonanno, won the 2023/24 ePremier League in March and in turn City became the first club to win the title twice and Hunt also became the first pro to achieve the feat also.
