Pep Guardiola's side reached the quarter-final of the competition for the sixth consecutive season with a 8-1 aggregate victory over RB Leipzig in the Round of 16.

Erling Haaland's unbelievable five-goal haul - only the third time that has been achieved in this competition's history - earned us an emphatic second leg victory at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday after Riyad Mahrez's goal in Germany last month.

Here we'll outline all the details of the upcoming UEFA Champions League draw...

Draw format

With both the quarter-final and potential last four ties to be confirmed, we will know our potential route to the Champions League final by Friday.

From this stage in the competition, teams from the same country can now face each other, meaning Pep Guardiola's men could face Premier League opposition in the next round.

There will also be no seedings, meaning home and away legs will be determined by the order in which teams are drawn.

Each quarter-final tie will be assigned a number between one and four . Those new balls will determine the semi-final ties meaning we will know our potential route to the final on Friday.

The third draw will determine the 'home' side at the final at Istanbul's Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

Who is in the draw?

Bayern Munich

Real Madrid

When will the ties be played?
