Gallery: Pep Guardiola's record breaking spell as City manager so far

Pep Guardiola's new Manchester City contract will take his stay at the Etihad Stadium to nine seasons.

The Catalan is currently in his seventh campaign at the helm and has now signed up for a further two years.

During his time in Manchester, he has won a Club record 11 major honours including four Premier League titles.

The first of those successes in 2017/18 saw City become the first side in Premier League history to reach 100 points, a points record that still stands.

A fierce battle with Liverpool followed in 2018/19 and the Blues needed every single one of our 98 points to lift back-to-back titles.

Another two consecutive titles in 2020/21 and 2021/22 made it four titles in just five seasons and Guardiola's side are again challenging at the top of the table this term.

We have also lifted four Carabao Cups, one FA Cup and two Community Shields during his reign.

The 51-year-old is already the most successful manager in the Club's history and City fans all over the world can now look forward to two more seasons with Guardiola in charge.
