Press conference
Enzo Maresca and a member of the squad will face the media in a 12:00 (UK) press conference on Tuesday 13 October.
We’ll bring the key lines they say straight here on mancity.com and our official app.
Opposing manager - Luis Enrique
Undoubtedly one of the premier managers currently active, Enrique’s CV matches up to many of the best of all-time.
After a lengthy playing career in the midfield and forward line for both Real Madrid and Barcelona, he coached Barcelona B while Pep Guardiola was leading the club’s first team.
After stints with Roma and Celta Vigo, it was then back to Barcelona where he made his name at the very top of the managerial game, winning two La Ligas and the Champions League in a three-year stint.
He then led Spain between 2018 and 2022 before pitching up in the French capital in 2023, where he has led them to Champions League success in 2025 and 2026.
Previous meeting
The two sides last met in the League Phase of 2024/25, with PSG coming back from 2-0 down early in the second half to win 4-2.
That performance has since been credited with one of the key turning points that saw them become back-to-back European champions.
It’s hardly reflective of the City we can expect here of course - coming at a tough point in Pep Guardiola’s ninth season and with so many changes since.
Overall in the seven Champions League meetings, we’ve won four, drawn one and lost two.
Last time out
We returned from the three-week international break with a thumping 3-0 win at Liverpool on Sunday.
Erling Haaland, Jérémy Doku and Rayan Cherki got the goals in the second half at Anfield after a battling display before the half-time.
