PEP GUARDIOLA PREVIEW

Pep Guardiola‘s pre-match thoughts will be revealed on mancity.com and our official app at 13:30 (UK) on Saturday 28 December.

We’ll have a written and a video recap of what he said right here.

PREVIOUS MEETING

Our latest encounter with Leicester City came in April 2023  at the Etihad Stadium as a first-half brace from Erling Haaland came after a John Stones opener.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored what was only a consolation for the Foxes in the second-half as City recorded a tenth successive victory as we chased down Arsenal who were at the top of the Premier League at the time.

LAST TIME OUT

An improved display wasn’t matched with the result as we shared the points in a 1-1 draw with Everton at the Etihad.

Bernardo Silva scored to put us ahead on 14 minutes after a deflected shot went in from a tight angle, but Iliman Ndiaye fired a shot into the top right corner to draw Everton level against the run of play.
