Julian Alvarez's substitute appearance in the 5-1 win over Wolves was his 100th game for City.

The Argentinian marked the occasion with his 35th goal for Pep Guardiola‘s side to seal a vital three points.

Alvarez has been a revelation since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2022, playing a pivotal role in our Big Five success over the last two campaigns.

Our No.19 also added international success at the World Cup with Argentina during his first term in Manchester.

That trophy-laden first campaign is covered in our recent City Studios documentary, Julian Alvarez: Standing Alone.

This season he has been our most used player, making 51 appearances across all competitions as we chase yet more silverware.

Over both seasons he has hit the net 19 times in the Premier League, eight times in the Champions League, scored four goals in the FA Cup, two at the FIFA Club World Cup and one in each of the Community Shield and Carabao Cup.

In total, he has played a whopping 5,960 minutes, laid on 17 assists and created 128 chances on top of his 35 goals.

The 24-year-old is currently averaging a goal or an assist every 115 minutes in a City shirt.

Congratulations to Julian on reaching this significant landmark!
