With the summer transfer window now closed, Pep Guardiola's squad gathered to take this season's official men's team photo.

Joined by the Premier League trophy we lifted in dramatic circumstances back in May, the players gathered for the photograph at the City Football Academy last week.

The image will be used in years to come to look back on the class of 2022/23, as we now do to see all the City sides of years gone by.

The photograph also marks the home kit worn by our players throughout the season. This year’s number was inspired by Club great Colin Bell, who wore a similar shirt during a trophy laden period at City between 1966 and 1979.

New faces in this year’s photo include summer signings Manuel Akanji, Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Stefan Ortega Moreno and Kalvin Phillips.

At the other end of the scale, this is Kevin De Bruyne’s eighth team photo at City. The Belgian playmaker is now City’s longest serving player after the departure of Fernandinho at the end of last season.
