Find out who the Scout has tipped for success ahead of City's trip to Turf Moor in our latest Fantasy Premier League Scout Report.

Pep Guardiola‘s men return to Premier League action against Burnley on Saturday 2 April, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 (UK).

With a Champions League quarter-final against Atletico Madrid on the horizon, not to mention Premier League and FA Cup encounters with Liverpool, three points could prove vital in what promises to be a crucial few weeks in our season.

But with Burnley equally desperate for a result to ease their relegation worries, we’ll need to be at our best to claim victory at Turf Moor.

It leaves FPL managers with plenty to ponder ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 (UK) deadline, but the Scout is on hand once again to ease those selection worries in our latest FPL Scout Report.

Check out who the Scout is backing below...

City Star

Riyad Mahrez (£8.7m) offers managers a major differential option in Gameweek 31 of Fantasy Premier League.

The winger is owned by a mere 4.3% of players ahead of Manchester City’s visit to Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

Mahrez has been in outstanding form lately, producing all five of his double-figure hauls this season in his last eight starts.

He has amassed 81 points in that run, scoring eight goals and supplying a further three assists.

The Algerian also has a prolific record against the Clarets since moving to the Etihad Stadium.

He has averaged 9.7 points per match over his six meetings with Sean Dyche’s side, including his career-high haul of 21 points in Gameweek 10 last season.

Opponent to watch

Wout Weghorst (£6.4m) is the hosts’ main goal threat. Since making his debut in Gameweek 23, the Dutchman’s 10 shots in the box is a team-leading total.

Main man: Despite only joining in the January transfer window, Weghorst is already just 11 points away from becoming Burnley’s highest scoring attacker in FPL this season.

Other Premier League pick

Elsewhere, Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) and Harry Kane (£12.5m) are among the top captaincy picks for Gameweek 31.

Liverpool’s Salah has averaged 11.7 points per match against his visitors Watford over his Fantasy career.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Kane entertains Newcastle United on the back of five goals, four assists and 51 points in his last five outings.
