The defender received the captaincy in April 2014 and has since led her country to a World Cup bronze medal and the semi-finals of the European Championships.
Meanwhile, Esme Morgan has also been called-up to the Lionesses' newly-introduced Under-21s squad for a training camp at St George's Park.
