Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has told Sky Sports he is willing to keep his options open following reports they are set to sign Paul Pogba.

The Juventus midfielder has been linked with several major clubs in Europe throughout the summer but United may be willing to pass on the Frenchman if they cannot strike a deal.

Sky Sports believe that the Serie A Champions have told United they must bid upwards of £100m if they are to get their man.

The Portuguese manager said: “It is the power of Man United but it is also the power of football because in this moment the market is going in such a direction where I never know what is expensive, I never know what is cheap.

“We are in a comfortable position but we know what it is wrong and what is right. We know what the balance is and, I repeat, we are not going to be only focusing on one player.”
