City quartet receive England call-up

CHAMPS: City's England quartet.
Four Manchester City players have been named in the England squad ahead of this summer’s UEFA Nations League finals.

Fabian Delph, Raheem Sterling, John Stones and Kyle Walker have all been called up to Gareth Southgate’s provisional 27-man squad, which will be reduced to 23 players by Monday 27 May.

Southgate’s side are scheduled to meet at St George’s Park on Tuesday, but due to the FA Cup final, the City representatives will join up with the squad on the following Monday.

England will face the Netherlands in the Nations League semi-final on Thursday 6 June, before facing either Portugal or Switzerland in the final or third place play-off three days later.
