City clock up 250 Premier League wins this decade

CELEBRATE: Mahrez lets out a roar after his leveller.
City’s 3-1 win over Leicester this evening brought up another notable landmark for the Club as it marked our 250th Premier League win of the decade.

The Etihad triumph over Brendan Rodgers’ side was the latest demonstration of City’s remarkable record of success over the past 10 years and took us to an overall tally of 250 league wins from 379 games played.

It’s yet further confirmation of the Club’s remarkable levels of success and consistency throughout the decade.

And with two more matches to be played before the decade is out – next Friday’s trip to Wolves followed by a home encounter with Sheffield United two days later - we could further extend that hugely impressive total of victories.

As well as chalking up 250 league victories, today’s triumph means that City have now recorded a cumulative points tally of 815 for the decade – 74 more than Manchester United who have the second largest tally.

United are the only team to have recorded as many victories in a 10-year cycle, winning 255 games from 381 matches in the 2000s.
