LOAN RANGERS: How did our on-loan stars fare across Europe this week?

A goal and more assists for Man City's loan stars this weekend...

Patrick Roberts continues to shine for Celtic.

The winger was on the scoresheet in the Hoops’ 4-0 triumph over Hearts, collecting Kieran Tierney’s cutback and smashing into the roof of the net.

Celtic broke a 50-year-old record by extending their unbeaten domestic run to 27 games.

Also in Scotland, Billy O’Brien completed 90 minutes for St Mirren but couldn’t prevent his side from falling to defeat against Falkirk.

In the English FA Cup, Aaron Mooy helped Huddersfield to a 4-0 thrashing of Rochdale, having been introduced from the bench on 69 minutes on his return from injury.

Within minutes, he set up Michael Hefele for the Terriers’ third and also played a key role in the fourth.

In Holland, City’s trio of loanees at Twente were victorious at Zwolle, although Bersant Celina was sent off on 49 minutes for kicking out.

Enes Unal was brought off on 81 minutes, while Yaw Yeboah was an unused substitute.

Meanwhile, NAC Breda left it late to rescue a draw at Maastricht. Ashley Smith-Brown, Manu Garcia and Thomas Agyepong completed the full game, while James Horsfield was an unused substitute. Brandon Barker remains sidelined through injury.

In Spain, Samir Nasri claimed an assist, teeing up former Blue Stevan Jovetic, but was on the losing side as Sevilla were defeated 3-1 at Espanyol.

Elsewhere, Marlos Moreno was introduced with seven minutes of normal time left in Deportivo’s 3-1 loss at Eibar.

In Italy, Bruno Zuculini lasted an hour of Verona’s 2-0 victory over Salernitana, while Joe Hart’s Torino drew 1-1 with Atalanta. Olivier Ntcham was introduced in the final 11 minutes of Genoa’s 3-3 draw at Fiorentina.

Finally, Wilfried Bony completed 90 minutes for the Ivory Coast, who crashed out of the African Cup of Nations with a 1-0 defeat to Morocco.
