Two changes for Man City against Swansea

FERNANDIN-OH!: The Brazilian wheels away in celebration

FERNANDIN-OH!: The Brazilian wheels away in celebration

Fernandinho and Gael Clichy are the only two changes from the side beat West Ham so impressively in midweek.

Vincent Kompany, Claudio Bravo and Sergio Aguero remain on the bench while Willy Caballero keeps his place in goal.

Starting XI: Caballero, Clichy, Kolarov, Stones. Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, Sane, Sterling, Silva (c), De Bruyne, G Jesus

Subs: Bravo, Kompany, Zabaleta, Fernando, Navas, Aguero, Delph

It looks like City are going 3-2-4-1 – though it’s an unusual looking line-up and not that easy to second guess!

Guardiola will have thought long and hard about his line-up given recent performances and who to lead the line will have been perhaps his toughest quandary.

The form of Gabriel Jesus has impressed everyone and the youngster again gets the nod over Aguero.

Yaya Toure’s run of 10 consecutive starts continues with Bacary Sagna and Nicolas Otamendi omitted from the side that beat the Hammers.

STARTING XI: Plus bench v Swans

In-form Swans

The arrival of new head coach Paul Clement halted the freefall the Welsh club seemed to be in under Bob Bradley.

Shipping goals and losing heavily, the Swans needed a fresh start and under Clement, they’ve certainly had it.

With three wins in their last four games, they are now all pulling in the right direction with a couple of new signings having an instant impact.

Their 3-2 win away to Liverpool proves they can score goals on the road and they will look to keep City out first and foremost, then catch the Blues on the counter-attack.

A month ago this would have looked like a nailed-on home win – but now it looks like a tricky fixture.
