Take a footballing trip around Europe courtesy of our Man City loanees...

Patrick Roberts played a key role in a frenetic match between Motherwell and Celtic at the weekend.

The 19-year-old scored and laid on a stunning assist at Fir Park in a game that Brendan Rodgers' side won 4-3.

Celtic are of course visitors to the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night so here's hoping Patrick and the Hoops have got all the goals out of their system - for now!

Elsewhere, Jason Denayer continued in his new midfield role for Sunderland, playing a half in the Black Cats' 2-1 win over Leicester.

Aaron Mooy played the full game as Huddersfield drew with Blackburn in the Championship, while George Glendon played 64 minutes of Fleetwood's stalemate with Shrewsbury in the FA Cup. A trip to Bristol City awaits the winner of that replay in the third round.

Over in Holland, City trio Enes Unal, Bersant Celina and Yaw Yeboah all played in the 0-0 draw at Willem II. There was another deadlock at Roda JC, where Oleksandr Zinchenko played 64 minutes for PSV Eindhoven.

Brandon Barker was on target from the penalty spot in NAC Breda's 3-1 win over Almere City, with Ashley Smith-Brown playing the full game at the Rat Verlegh Stadion. However,

To Spain and Valencia, where Eliaquim Mangala played in the 2-2 draw with Malaga.

Marlos Moreno was an unused substitute as Deportivo La Coruna hammered Sociedad 5-1 on Monday night, as was Manu Garcia in Deportivo Alaves' 1-1 draw at home to Las Palmas.

In Serie A, Joe Hart played in Torino's 2-0 defeat at Sampdoria.
