PICK THAT ONE OUT: De Bruyne wheels away after his free kick

Four Manchester City players have been nominated for the FIFA FIFPro World11 2016.

Claudio Bravo, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero are on the 55-man shortlist, which has been voted for by more than 25,000 professional footballers from over 75 different countries who each select one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.

Bravo, 33, who joined City this summer from Barcelona, had a superb 2016, helping Luis Enrique’s side to the La Liga title, as well as leading Chile to Copa America success where he was named in the Team of the Tournament.

Silva and De Bruyne both impressed for club and country, with Silva starring for Spain and De Bruyne a key player for Belgium at this summer’s European Championships.  

And Aguero has scored consistently for City throughout the year and is now closing in on becoming the Club’s all-time leading scorer. He has scored a remarkable 37 goals at domestic and international level since January and now sits joint-fourth on City's list of all-time leading scorers.
