New York

The Premier League may come to an end this weekend, but the final chapter of Manchester City’s 2012/13 season is just about to begin!

The Blues will travel to the US on Monday 20 May for a week-long trip where they will play Premier League rivals Chelsea at two iconic sporting venues.

Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinal’s will play host to round one of the post-season showdown on Thursday 23 May.

Tickets for the game sold out in record time and football fans in the city told us excitement ahead of the match is reaching fever pitch!

Two days later, the second edition of City v Chelsea will be played at the the storied Yankee Stadium in New York on Saturday 25 May.

Kick-off for this match is scheduled for 5.30pm (EDT) and tickets are still on sale at www.yankees.com/soccer and www.ticketmaster.com.

Prior to the match between the clubs, Yankee Stadium will host its first-ever ‘UEFA Champions League Viewing’ - a live screening on the Stadium’s 59-foot-high by 101-foot-long high-definition video board of the UEFA Champions League Final between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

All tickets for the May 25 event include both the viewing party and the live match with gates opening at 2:00 p.m.

Of course, we at mcfc.co.uk will be providing coverage of the Blues’ every move in the States, so make the official website for first port of call for regular tour updates.
