Ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash, the latest Scout Report for Fantasy Premier League has landed.

Enzo Maresca’s Blues travel to Aston Villa on Saturday 24 October, with kick-off in the Midlands set for 12:30 (UK).

City will be looking to extend our winning run to eight, with our latest league outing a dramatic 3-2 win over Ipswich at the Etihad.

But it’s also a game that will see Enzo Maresca’s side hope to capitalise on the momentum after a 5-1 victory over AEK Athens in the UEFA Champions League earlier in the week.

With that in mind, here is our Gameweek 8 report ahead of the 11:00 (UK) deadline on Saturday 10 October.

City Star

Jeremy Doku (£7.4m) returned from injury in Gameweek 5 and since then has registered 18 points.

In the last two gameweeks Doku has three attacking returns, which is the tied most in the game.

In this period he has had three attempts on goal in the League, all coming from inside the box, and he has created a team-leading four chances of which half have been big chances.

Doku has been directly involved in 33% of the chances than Man City have created whilst he has been on the pitch across Gameweek 6 and 7.

The midfielder has also had 18 touches in the penalty area, 73 touches in the final third and 90 in the opponents half, all of which are team leading tallies.

One to Watch

Johan Manzambi (£6.0m) is opponent’s Aston Villa’s top-scoring player in Fantasy this season. Manzambi has registered at least one attacking return in each of the last three gameweeks.

Differentials

Elsewhere, Marcus Tavernier (£6.2m) and Tarik Muharemovic (£5.0m) are low-owned gems who have good potential in Gameweek 8.

Tavernier registered is third double-digit return of the season in Gameweek 6. His four goals so far is joint top for midfielders in the game.

Muharemovic, has returned in six of the seven gameweeks so far this season. The defender has registered two clean sheets, two assists and eight Defensive Contribution points.
