Following an unprecedented period where matches were played without supporters at the Etihad Stadium until the final match of the 2020/21 season, the Club is now planning to welcome back supporters for the start of the 2021/22 season in August.
Commenting on Seasoncard renewals for the 2021/22 season, Managing Director of Operations, Danny Wilson said: “We are delighted to be announcing our plans to welcome back Seasoncard holders for the 2021/22 season with the launch of Seasoncard renewals.
"We have missed all of our supporters whilst matches have been played behind closed doors and we know how much our supporters have missed being part of the matchday too.
"It was fantastic to see 10,000 supporters back at the Etihad Stadium for the Club’s final league match and we are now looking forward to many more returning for what promises to be another exciting season of football.”
Seasoncard holders can renew from 10am Tuesday 8th June to 8pm Wednesday 16th June. Find out more here.
Supporters who have credit from their 2019/20 Seasoncard can use it to contribute towards the cost of their 2021/22 Seasoncard, if they have not yet claimed it back.
The Club’s flexible payment option of Direct Debit is also available to supporters.
Renewals for the 2021/22 season can only be made online or over the phone. You are unable to renew in person.
The Club will be introducing mobile ticketing for all matches at the Etihad Stadium for the 2021/22 season. This follows its successful trial at the Etihad Stadium at the Club’s final match of the 2020/21 season.
Alternative ticket methods will be available for supporters should these be required.
ONE SEASON DEFERMENT:
Following consultation with City Matters, the Club will be offering an option for supporters to take a one season deferment on their Seasoncard for the 2021/22 season. Supporters who choose this option will retain any Ticket Points accrued in previous seasons.
Any deferred seat will be sold on a match by match basis only for the 2021/22 season.
You can also request a deferral by contacting us on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (Option 6).
Requests to defer must be submitted to the Club no later than 8pm Wednesday 16th June.
The safety and welfare of every supporter who attends a match at the Etihad Stadium continues to be the Club’s priority.
In the event that COVID-19 health and safety measures are required at home Premier League matches for the 2021/22 season, the Club will ensure supporters are provided with advance notice and full details of what these are.
If there are any changes to UK Government guidelines during the 2021/22 season that prevent home Premier League matches at the Etihad Stadium taking place at full capacity, match refunds will be issued on a pro-rata basis for impacted supporters.
