What happened...

City continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 4-0 victory and an exciting attacking performance at Sunderland's Academy of Light.

Having seen off Manchester United in last weekend's derby, the Blues were full of confidence against the struggling Black Cats.

Jadon Sancho opened the scoring in the first half for City before Tom Dele-Bashiru added a second to put the Blues in a commanding position come the break.

A dominant City sealed their fourth victory from six matches when Ian Carlo Poveda added a third goal.

There was even time for Sancho to add his second and City's fourth to cap a perfect outing for the young Blues.

What it means...

Lee Carsley's Blues have 14 points from their first six matches and remain unbeaten in the U18 Premier League.

City face Wolves at the City Football Academy next Saturday morning for the latest fixture in the U18 Premier League.

Swiss Aro Muric continued in goal. Demeaco Duhaney, captain Joel Latibeaudiere, Ash Kigbu made up the three man defence with Sadou Diallo sitting in front. Will Patching and Tom Dele-Bashiru were in the centre of midfield.

Phil Foden, Ian Carlo Poveda and Jadon Sancho supported main central striker Lorenzo Gonzalez.
