About City Matters
Established in 2018, City Matters is a forum where fans meet regularly with senior Club representatives to discuss topics that matter most to the fan community.
That ranges from the matchday experience and ticketing, to diversity and inclusion, accessibility, and beyond.
It’s a platform for collaborative two-way communication between fans and the Club, ensuring every fans voice can be heard and valued.

City Matters representatives are voluntary members each elected by fans to represent a key part of our fan base.
What do Representatives do?
We are looking for enthusiastic fans who are comfortable engaging with others and eager to represent their community. Ideal candidates will:
➡️ Represent the views of your fan group and share them with the Club
➡️ Provide feedback and make recommendations on fan-related topics
➡️ Help develop ideas and initiatives to improve the fan experience
➡️ Act as a key link between the Club and the wider fan community
➡️ Enjoy connecting with fellow fans and gathering feedback
➡️ Communicate clearly and constructively with the Club
➡️ Commit time to attend and actively participate in meetings and discussions with the Club

Applications close on Sunday 16 August at 11:59pm.
A panel of Club staff and representatives, including the City Matters Chair, will review all submissions. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a short online interview.
The final shortlist will be published on the City Matters webpage, where fans with a Supporter Number can vote for their preferred candidates.
The candidate with the most votes will become the new Seasonal Hospitality Fan Representative for the 2026/27 season.
