Watch the comprehensive highlights from City’s 2-0 Barclays Women’s Super League victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

The clash pitted two of the league’s most in-form teams against each other and it was the visitors who started brightly at Brisbane Road to take the lead through Amy Turner’s own goal.

That ninth-minute breaking of the deadlock represented the game’s only goal before half-time, but Gareth Taylor’s side repeated the trick after the interval by doubling our advantage through Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw.

The Jamaican received a pass from Lauren Hemp on the left before breaking into the box and unleashed a vicious drive past Barbora Votikova at the keeper’s near post.

Spurs threatened to reduce the defecit late on, but City defended strongly to seal the three points which extended our winning streak to seven straight matches.

What’s more, the victory also moved us to within three points of the WSL table’s summit.
