Watch seven minutes of match action from Manchester City's UEFA Women’s Champions League Round Two second leg tie against Real Madrid.

Gareth Taylor’s side’s European ambitions were ended after Claudia Zornoza Sanchez’s goal handed the visitors a 1-0 victory at the Academy Stadium to send City out of the competition with a 2-1 aggregate defeat.

The midfielder struck a minute before the half-time whistle and though the home side – roared on by a crowd for the first time in 18 months – rallied after the break, we were unable to find a leveller.

New signing Hayley Raso went closest with an effort the cracked the woodwork, but Las Blancas, who scored a last-minute equaliser in the first leg, held onto their lead despite City’s best efforts.
