City Unfiltered: Kyle Walker

From shining in goal for City through to a memorable introduction to Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker looks back at some of his favourite Instagram photos.

Following in the footsteps of Ruben Dias, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva and John Stones, our England defender is the latest star to take a trip down memory lane as part of our City Unfiltered series.

Since joining City from Spurs in the summer of 2017, the right back has established himself as one of the most important members of Pep Guardiola’s squad.

Ever dependable and consistent, the 31-year-old has also shown himself to be a flexible and adaptable when the need arises – not least when he shone in goal when pressed into service as an emergency keeper in a Champions League clash at Atalanta back in 2019.

Not surprisingly, that moment at the San Siro ranks high in Kyle’s list of memorable Insta posts - while he also reveals the place and destination that makes him happy away from the pressures of football.

And Kyle also lifts the lid on the City post that makes him most proud.
