Pep Guardiola asserts City must treat each remaining Champions League group game as a final.

The Blues face Hoffenheim in Group F on Tuesday night with many viewing the clash as a 'must-win' for the Blues, after the home defeat to Lyon.

The German outfit held Shakhtar Donetsk to a draw in Matchday One and Guardiola has warned against complaceny.

Previewing the game, Guardiola stated: “We have five finals ahead in the group stages. In the Champions League, we don’t have time to lose a lot of games. Tomorrow is the first final.

“We need to review the game against Lyon. Maybe in the first half, we were not like we normally are.

“It’s the Champions League so all of the teams are good. I give credit to the opponents.

“Like Vincent Kompany said perfectly (earlier in the press conference), it’s a top quality competition and it’s so complicated.

“It is a tough competition for all of us and we try to be stable. I think we are making steps forward because in the last few seasons, we have qualified quite comfortably.”
