Manchester’s Connecting Communities Fund
Wembley Stadium Foundation’s Communities Fund is supporting thousands of young people across Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Newcastle to get active and express themselves over the next two years. In the build-up to UEFA EURO 2028 UK & Ireland, the Fund is helping to close the gap in access to sport, movement and performing arts, so that more young people feel a sense of ownership and pride in their city, deepening community belonging and building a legacy for sport and the performing arts. This funding is part of Wembley Stadium Foundation’s Communities Fund, which is supporting young people and organisations across England’s UEFA EURO 2028 Host Cities.
City in the Community, working in partnership with Curious Minds, a national arts and cultrual education charity based in Wigan, is inviting applications for Manchester’s Connecting Communities Fund. Grant applications will be considered from community and grassroots organisations based in the City of Manchester delivering projects or participatory activities for young people centered around sport, movement and performing arts.
