Michael Brown

Michael Brown came through City’s academy and captaining our youth team, before graduating into the senior setup and playing 110 times for the first team, scoring four goals. A box-to-box midfielder, he was a dymaic, tough-tackling player who brought steel and quality to the side.

He went on to play for Sheffield United, Tottenham, Fulham, Wigan, Portsmouth, Leeds and Port Vale.

Since retiring from playing, he has worked in the media as an analyst and co-commentator for BBC and Sky Sports.
