UEFA Champions League Final ticket and travel information

UEFA’s ticketing process

Tickets for this match will go on sale next week and will only be available to purchase directly from UEFA.

More information about UEFA’s ticket sales process, and when this opens, will be communicated to all fans in advance of going on sale. Fans are advised that they will need to enter their passport details to purchase their ticket.

We will be operating a points drop system for this match, similar to all other away matches, with Season Ticket Members on the UEFA Cup Scheme having first priority, before Season Ticket Members not on the UEFA Cup Scheme.

Should any tickets remain after this point they will be made available to Cityzens Matchday Members.

To be able to purchase a ticket from UEFA’s website, fans must input a unique access code sent to them by the Club.

The window for requesting a free access code has now closed

We will then share each fan’s unique access code with them in advance of their sales criteria window opening.

Requesting an access code is free but does not guarantee a ticket or mean you are committed to purchasing one. Only Season Ticket Members can request an access code at this moment in time.

If fans do not request, they will not receive a unique access code when the ticket sales criteria drops to their points bracket, meaning they will not be able to buy a ticket.

Any Season Ticket Member that does not request a free access code by this deadline will not have the opportunity to purchase a ticket for the final, subject to qualifying sales criteria.

There is no advantage to requesting an access code early. All Season Ticket Members have until the deadline of midnight on Monday 22nd May 2023 to find a time which works best for them.

An access code cannot be used for multiple fans and fans can only request one access code per account. Alternatively, fans can request an access code on behalf of the friends and family listed on their account.

All fans will receive a confirmation email when they have requested their free access code, but the access code will not be issued until closer to the time when their respective sales window opens.

The window for requesting a free access code has now closed

Fans with junior Season Ticket Members who would like their child to attend the match, are advised they must request a free access code in the same basket when claiming their own access code. We will only be able to allocate an access code if their request is linked to an adult.

In line with all other away matches this season, a number of tickets have been allocated specifically for our fans aged 18-25.

To achieve this, we have worked closely with UEFA and our fans to create a way of distributing these tickets while working within the restrictions of UEFA’s ticketing process.

As a result, 18–25 year old Season Ticket Members on the UEFA Champions League Cup Scheme with the highest points will receive a unique access code on Friday 26th May 2023 and be given access to buy a ticket for the final.

Fans in that group have received an email advising they have been allocated an access code through the allocation. Fans not in this group, you have not been allocated an access code as part of the 18-25 allocation and will therefore receive your unique access code when the sales criteria hits your points level and at this stage you will be able to purchase a ticket (subject to availability).

The Club has received an allocation of 19,926 tickets, including 79 wheelchair bays and a number of tickets for ambulant supporters.

From this allocation, the following groups will receive tickets for this match:

  • Season Ticket Members
  • Seasonal Hospitality Members
  • Owner
  • Board of Directors
  • Football Management
  • Players
  • Club Officials and Staff
  • Former Players
  • Club Partners
  • Official Manchester City Supporters Clubs

These include a subsidised one-day travel package priced at £995 which will fly direct from Manchester Airport to Istanbul Havalimani Airport (IST) and return immediately after the match.

There is also a two-night travel package which includes overnight accommodation on Friday and Saturday. This package is priced at £1,500. Should fans wish to arrange their own accommodation on Friday and Saturday, they still have the option of purchasing the flights only for £1,080.

Please note, the packages do not include a match ticket.

The packages will go on sale at 10am on Monday 22nd May 2023, and further information about them will be shared on the Club’s website in advance.

All COVID-19 restrictions in Turkey have been lifted, and fans arriving in Turkey are no longer required to present proof of vaccination or negative PCR test results.

If you buy tickets from an unauthorised source, whether that be an unauthorised website, an online marketplace or a ticket tout outside the stadium, you risk not being allowed entry to the match and losing the money you paid. Tickets sold by touts are likely to become void and do not give you the right to enter the stadium to watch the match or can lead to you being removed from the stadium.
