Mary Fowler joined City in the summer of 2022 with a reputation as one of world football’s most exciting young talents after a successful spell in France with Montpellier.

Rapidly approaching 100 appearances for the Club, she’s become a key figure at the Joie Stadium and was even part of the 2024/25 PFA WSL Team of the Year.

She’s hit equally impressive heights on the international scene, making her senior debut for Australia at just 15 and becoming an icon in her home nation after helping the Matildas reach the semi-finals of the 2023 World Cup as hosts – her nation’s best performance.

Mary’s also broken boundaries off the pitch, becoming the first professional footballer to hit the runway at Paris Fashion Week before releasing a book about her personal journey in November 2025 while recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament rupture.
