About the Programme

Our Development Programme gives players aged between 9–13 the unique experience of training like a Manchester City Academy player.

Through practical training sessions and interactive workshops, players will develop their football skills and confidence in a world-class learning environment.

From 1v1 situations up to 9v9 games, discover first-hand how Manchester City develops their players’ understanding, and how this is then transferred into game play.

The programme covers the following themes:
• Individual development
• Introduction to nutrition
• Importance of wellbeing
• Use of technology within the game

Our Development Programme is suitable for intermediate level (B1) English language speakers and above. For beginner English speakers, our Language Programme may be more suitable.

Who is the development programme for?

Players are placed into tailored groups based on ability to ensure focused development and the best possible training experience.
