With City's quadruple-header against Chelsea starting this weekend, our players were working hard at the CFA this afternoon.

An epic series of clashes begins with the Subway League Cup final at Pride Park, with kick-off lined up at 12:15 (UK) on Saturday 15 March.

In what will be Nick Cushing’s first game back in charge, we will need to be at our best in order to win.

Our last outing against this weekend’s opponents ended in a 2-0 defeat, but City will be looking to lift our first silverware of 2024/25 with a more positive result on Saturday.

We’re going for our fifth success in the competition, after lifting the trophy in 2014, 2016, 2019 and 2022.

As well as deciding one competition, it will also set the stall out for the two-legged Champions League tie and Barclays Women’s Super League clash with Chelsea all to come in the next couple of weeks.

Ahead of that, the players were out in the chilly Manchester weather earlier today.
