View the best images from Steph Houghton’s City tenure so far after she extended her illustrious stay at the Academy Stadium until 2024.

The centre-back joined the Club in January 2014 ahead of our inaugural season as a professional side in the Barclays Women’s Super League later that year.

It’s been an extraordinary nine-and-a-half years for our captain in Manchester as she spearheaded our meteoric rise within the women’s game.

In total, she’s made 233 appearances in sky blue, scoring 21 times and lifting a staggering eight major honours.

This includes the 2015 league title, four Continental Cups and three FA Cups.

And we couldn’t be more delighted to have her within our ranks for another year at the Academy Stadium.
