The Champions of England take on the Champions of Europe and Spain in one of this summer’s most exciting pre-season clashes.
It’s the perfect opportunity to see the Blues back in action, with plenty happening around the Joie Stadium before, during and after the match.

14:30 – Gates and Kids Fanzone open
Make sure you arrive early to enjoy the full matchday experience! Gates open from 14:30, giving you plenty of time to explore the stadium and take in everything happening before kick-off.
Get your picture with the trophies
The champions are home, and we’re bringing our trophies with us! Supporters will have the opportunity to get up close and take a picture with the Barclays Women’s Super League and Adobe Women’s FA Cup trophies in the middle of the East Stand.
They’ll be available before the game and at half-time, so make sure you stop by and capture the perfect photo from the most successful season in our professional history.
Make the most of the Kids Fanzone
As always at a Joie Stadium matchday, there will be plenty to keep our younger fans entertained ahead of kick-off.
This includes face painting, a selfie mirror and plenty of football-based activities for the whole family to enjoy.
15:15 – Andrée Jeglertz Interview
Don’t miss our first matchday interview of the season with Head Coach Andrée Jeglertz – the 2025/26 WSL Manager of the Season!
He will provide the latest update on the team and our pre-season preparations ahead of our clash with Barcelona, as well as look forward to the new campaign.

The atmosphere will be building around the Joie Stadium with a live DJ set from Lewis Barlow ahead of kick-off.

The entertainment doesn’t stop when the whistle blows.
At half-time, the Moonies will take on our Slingshot challenge, and they won’t be alone… keep an eye out for some surprise appearances from City players!
You’ll also have another opportunity to visit the East Stand and get your picture with our WSL and FA Cup trophies.
Full-time – Autograph Alley
Some lucky supporters will get the opportunity to access Autograph Alley, where they can meet City players after the match and hopefully leave with a signature or picture.
