Coombs’ City story so far in pictures

Laura Coombs has signed a new two-year deal at Manchester City, committing her future to the Club until 2025.

The midfielder moved to the Academy Stadium from Liverpool in the summer of 2019 and has gone on to help Gareth Taylor’s side win the FA Cup and Continental Cup across her 79 appearances thus far.

A hugely popular member of the squad, the 32-year-old’s intelligence and versatility have made her a crucial asset for City across her three-and-a-half seasons at the Club.

Those qualities were exemplified by the midfielder claiming December’s PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award; a month in which she grabbed the all-important equaliser in front of a Club record 44,259 supporters in our 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
