Gareth Taylor is aiming to win back-to-back Barclays Women's Super League PFA Manager of the Month awards.

After winning in February, Taylor is now in contention for March’s award, too.

Across the month, Taylor’s team earned three victories in three games in the WSL to send us second in the league, level on points with leaders Manchester United, and firmly in the shake-up for the title.

The month began with a solid 3-1 home win over Tottenham, a Bunny Shaw hat-trick doing the damage after Spurs had gone ahead at the Academy Stadium.

It was followed up by a 2-1 victory away at Brighton, Shaw again the hero as she bagged an 88th minute winner at Broadfield Stadium.

The latest victory was undoubtedly the best of the lot – a 2-0 home win over champions Chelsea, a performance that showcased courage, confidence and class.

Filippa Angeldahl and Lauren Hemp scored first-half goals to see off the Blues.

Taylor faces competition from Aston Villa boss Carla Ward and Arsenal’s Jonas Eidevall for March’s award.
