Over 40,000 tickets have been snapped up for the Barclays Women's Super League Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium!

City lock horns with Manchester United on Sunday 11 December, with kick-off scheduled for 12:30 (UK).

The match represents the next opportunity for supporters to get their football fix ahead of the conclusion of the Qatar World Cup.

It will be the third women’s match to take place at the Etihad, and the first since more than 31,000 supporters witnessed a 1-0 win for City in September 2019.

That total stands as our largest attendance to this day, but it’s expected that our latest showdown will comfortably surpass that figure.

Beyond local bragging rights, the fixture could also have a huge influence on the rapidly developing WSL title race.

City and United are both within touching distance of the summit and know that picking up three points against a rival could be hugely significant in transforming those league ambitions into a reality.

Everything points towards a captivating encounter, with tickets still available to purchase.
