Manchester City’s charity, City in the Community (CITC), is delighted to announce ‘An Afternoon with Steph Houghton’, an intimate event bringing supporters closer to the legendary defender.

The exclusive Q&A event, which will involve a two-course meal for attendees, as well as an opportunity to submit questions to Steph, is to be hosted in the Citizen’s Suite at the Etihad Stadium on 12 June from 12pm until 3pm.

By purchasing a ticket to the event, you will be supporting both City in the Community, and the Darby Rimmer Foundation, which aims to raise awareness of MND, as well as helping to fund and assist research into the illness with the quest of finding a cure.

During the event, you’ll be able to hear exclusively from the former City and England captain, as she discusses the many highlights from her magnificent career.

The afternoon will also include a raffle and auction for some exclusive Club and Darby Rimmer sourced prizes.

All funds raised for City in the Community will support its new Healthy Goals campaign, which aims to uplift the physical and mental health of young people by creating new community football spaces in Manchester.

“We are delighted to be able to provide supporters with this opportunity to hear from Steph in person, whilst also having the chance to celebrate her brilliant career with City and England.

“This is the second time we have held an exclusive event of this nature, and we would like to thank Manchester City and its players for all their support over throughout the season.

“This exclusive event also provides another opportunity for fans to support City in the Community, and Darby Rimmer whilst also experiencing an unforgettable afternoon.”
