The Japanese midfielder joined the Club in January 2025 and went on to make two senior appearances for the Blues during her time at the Joie Stadium.
She made her debut as a second half substitute in a victory over Aston Villa shortly after her arrival from Waseda University and made one more outing during the 2024/25 campaign.
Oyama was then selected in the squad who took part in the inaugural World Sevens tournament in the summer of 2025 and she made three appearances in the competition which took place in Portugal.
A six-month loan spell followed at Rosengard before the 21-year-old returned to City and was a regular feature in Andrée Jeglertz’s matchday squads as we sealed the Barclays Women’s Super League and FA Cup double last season.
Everyone at the Club would like to thank Aemu for her contributions and wish her all the very best for the future.
