The Argentine, who opened the scoring with his 22nd goal of the season, was withdrawn after suffering a heavy challenge from Marvelous Nakamba.
But afterwards he said it was just a knock and nothing more sinister – and took time to thank the Club for delivering on the promises we made to him back in 2011 when he signed from Atletico Madrid.
“I'm OK, just a kick on my knee, I'm fine,” he said.
“I just want to say to the club thanks because when I came here, I wanted to win titles so I’m so happy with another trophy.”

Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling says the City squad are now focused on securing more silverware before the seasons ends.
Our 2-1 win over Aston Villa at Wembley saw us secure our third Carabao Cup success in a row.
But with the FA Cup and Champions League still to play for, Sterling admits he wants more.
“It’s a pleasure coming to Wembley and winning it,” he said.
“Long may it continue. It was good, I thought maybe we made it difficult for ourselves at times.
“The league has been difficult this year, we’re still in the running for two more titles so we’re focused.
“We know as a team that when we’re not in the running for one there’s always a couple more. We just keep going and trying to win trophies.”
