Rayan Cherki has been nominated for the August EA Sports Player of the Month for August.
The City playmaker got his campaign off and by coming off the bench against Bournemouth and providing two assists as Enzo Marseca began his reign with a 2-1 victory.
The France international was also at his brilliant best in the 4-1 win over Crystal Palace, scoring two wonderful second-half goals .
Cherki is up against Arsenal’s Ricardo Calafiori, Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, Chelsea duo Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro, Brentford’s Mamadou Sangare, Hull City’s Konstantinos Tzolakis and Newcastle United’s Yoane Wissa.
Voting is now open and the winner will be announced at 11am on 11 September.
