Guardiola gives Aguero, Jesus and Walker fitness update
Pep Guardiola says Sergio Aguero is likely to start our FA Cup third-round tie at home to Birmingham on Sunday.

The striker has endured an injury-hit season, playing just nine times in all competitions.

However, he came off the bench towards the end of our win at Chelsea last weekend, and Guardiola says he will start Sunday's FA Cup tie, barring any setbacks in the next few days.

"Yes, if he is good in these next days, he will start," Pep confirmed after our Carabao Cup semi-final win over Manchester United

Meanwhile, the boss says he is less sure of whether or not Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker are ready to start after their isolation period following positive COVID-19 tests

The pair returned to the bench for the game at Old Trafford - but Guardiola says it's hard to tell what their stamina levels will be like after contracting the virus.

"It’s a mystery - no-one knows what happens when you get back from COVID," Pep added.

"Some recover well, some recover bad. We will see training sessions and see how they react.

"When I speak to them, they said they feel tired - ten days without training.

"But tomorrow training, next day training and we will analyse how they feel."
