Pep Guardiola is pleased his Manchester City side will compete for three of the biggest trophies in the world when club football returns in April.

City topped off an excellent week with a 6-0 victory over Burnley at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday to reach our fifth successive FA Cup semi-final.

The Blues have already qualified for the last eight of the UEFA Champions League, where we will face German champions Bayern Munich, and remain close to leaders Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.

When is the FA Cup semi-final draw

Now City's stars will join their national teams before we return to domestic action against Liverpool on 1 April.

After seeing his side overcome Vincent Kompany's Championship toppers, Guardiola stated his belief that his side are playing some of their best football right now.

"We are in a good moment," he said.

"In this month, we played against Newcastle, they were so difficult, then Palace and Leipzig and then today we conceded few chances, score a lot of goals and everyone made contributions.

"Everyone played well and defended set pieces well. Now we stop for the international team and then we come back."

"I think Arsenal are going to drop very few points so we have win almost all the games in the Premier League.

"We will play a semi-final at Wembley again and we know the Champions League opponents, it’s a great pleasure to play against Bayern Munich.

"To be alive in three competitions, the important ones, is so good."

April will see Guardiola's team play at least eight times, including three matches in the knockout competitions.

For the Blues to keep hopes of multiples trophies alive, the boss has called upon his side to build on the recent run of form that has seen us win our last six matches, keeping five clean sheets.

"The players know we cannot lose otherwise it's over so we come out at our best. That’s the reality," he said.

"We know the Premier League we have to win, win, win and the Champions League is what it is. The way we played against Leipzig and today, we were there."
